Soul Journal - Page 2!

The photo's that follow are the back of the front page, thought I would start with a teal coloured background and just let the muse take me! :-)

Words just came into my head, so just jotted them round the corners, and took some relevant bits from my stash and built up a page bit by bit!

I went over the pics with an ink pad and highlighted parts with dots and dashes....

More to follow x

'Soul Journal'

Well firstly let me Welcome you to my Blog, where I will be posting pictures of my creations and talking about upcoming events and collusions with other Artist's, Techniques and a lot lot more!

Below are some of my latest creations and techniques, with more of the older creations to follow! Please enjoy :-) Willow

Below is the construction of 'My Soul Journal'
I decided to make a journal of all the techniques I enjoy doing, along with images etc that mean something to me. I started off with a reasonably priced sketchbook and started by covering the front page with patterned tissue paper, using pva glue, I then sprayed it with a spritz of burnished brass Shadow Mist.

I had some ephemera pics in my stash, and started to glue them on to the dried cover, (you can use anything you like for this)

I then took the Burnished Brass Spritz and sprayed another layer over the top.....

I then found some lettering, also from my stash and placed them on the page.....

With a cotton wool ball soaked in Tim Holtz 'Tea Dye' Distress Ink I then went over the words to deaden the glare.....

Some of the Ephemera I am going to add to the front page.......
